We are all getting older!
Why a rummage sale? Because we like to keep our costs affordable for the community. We own our own hall and that means maintenance of the building, the parking areas and driveway, etc. Therefore, we have a GIGANTIC ENORMOUS THREE DAY RUMMAGE SALE every year to help earn money to defray the costs.
Who rents the Hall? We have various community and individuals who rent it for special events, such as weddings, parties, training workshops, etc. We appreciate their support of our hall, which is a treasure to the community.
Who maintains the Hall? Our club members have many talents which come in handy for the Hall building and property maintenance. In addition, we hire contractors as needed.
What do you have at the Rummage Sale? Almost Everything! From clothing for all ages, purses, shoes, books, kitchen items, holiday items, house items, electronics, exercise equipment, estate sale items, furniture AND MORE! We get calls to "HAUL IT AWAY!" all year long. We happily bring these items to our storage.
Can I get a deduction for my donations? We are non-profit. However, we do not have the status to deduct charitable contributions. You can be assured that your donations go to supporting a historic club in our town, providing low cost, high quality family entertainment and exercise and above all, keep the classic" Made In The USA"
Square Dancing tradition alive and thriving. We audit our accounts yearly, ensuring we maintain the highest integrity of a non-profit status. We accept gently used donations for our rummage sale.
